BACKGROUND

From looking at the daily headlines and keeping eyes on world affairs, it's easy to feel like everything's on a downward spiral. Though; Studies reveal that's not entirely true. That's why UNDP decided to shake things up and create a platform that is a sneak peek behind the curtain, showing young folks a reality where things are actually progressing towards a positive direction, all backed by the latest research and stats.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Our partners at The New Division crafted the script, while we at TERRAN handled the production. While filming during the COVID-19 pandemic, caution was paramount, leading us to operate with a minimal crew. As a result, some of our production staff was used in front of the camera. We set the scene in a Stockholm apartment using the ARRI Alexa Mini camera system paired with Ziess lenses, ensuring top-notch quality fit for the cinema screen.

THE SOLUTION

We created a film that really sparked attention and brought people onto the UNDP platform “Blir Världen Bättre” website. For a month in autumn 2022 the final film was screened at all SF cinemas in Sweden, all to bring hope and solution based thinking into the general discussion between young adults.
